Microbubble generator as an efficient gas-liquid dispersion equipment is widely used in petroleum,chemical industry,environmental protection,medicine and other industries.Currently,cyclone flotation technology is mainly used in oil field sewage treatment,but rarely used in refinery sewage treatment due to the oil refinery wastewater containing a lot of emulsified oil and suspended oil.Air dissolving pump which is commonly used in the cyclone technology will damage the sewage of oil refining plant.Thus the aim of this paper is to develop a new type of microbubble generator in order to meet the requirement of the oil refinery wastewater treatment.In this paper,the common microbubble generation technology and mainstream cyclone flotation technology were summarized.A new type of microbubble generator is designed based on the understanding of the foaming property of micro porous materials.The internal flow field of the microbubble generator was analyzed by CFD technology,and the inlet and outlet angle,the position and the length of the microbubble generator were optimized.The performance of the microbubble generator was tested by experiments in this paper,Experimental study on the influence of the structure and operation parameters of microbubble generator on the average size of the bubbles was carried out.After the operation performance of the microbubble generator is understood,the microbubble generator is connected with the existing cyclone floatation device,and the actual oil removing effect is also carried out.The results showed that under the condition of 1.25m3/h,4% gas water ratio,8% split ratio,the oil removal rate reached 50.9%.
