In recent years,people's living standards gradually improved.With our daily life and production needing,non-renewable resources such as oil and natural gas daily consume,and the combustion of foil energy will emit large quantities of pollutants to damage the environment.It is highly interest to investigate the hydrogen production by electrochemical water splitting and the storage of the energy by supercapacitor due to their environmental friendly and high efficient of energy transform.At present,the main catalyst material for hydrogen production from water electrolysis is platinum-based catalyst,while its high cost and scarcity restrict its wide commercial application.Therefore,to design efficient and cheap material is the urgent target.On the other hand,the supercapacitor has the advantages of high energy density,good cycling performance,low cost and friendly environment.The main disadvantage is that the performance of capacitor is low.The electrode material is one of the most important factors which affect the performance of the supercapacitor.Carbon materials have large specific surface area,high porosity and other excellent properties,can be used in most of the electrochemical reactions,the performance of carbon materials can increase significantly,with doping of nitrogen.In this paper,a novel method was used to prepare nitrogen doped carbon materials for the first time using electrochemical anodic oxidation.The preparation process includes the preparation of graphene oxide,the doping of nitrogen,the reduction of graphene oxide,and so on.Thanks to the excellent properties of graphene,the nitrogen doped graphene is used in the electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction,which greatly reduces the initial potential of hydrogen evolution and has a low Tafel slope and high current density.Then the application of nitrogen doped carbon materials produced from the metal organic framework in the electrochemistry is explored.The replacement of the ligand can change the pore structure and electrochemical performance of carbon materials.The performance of three different kinds of carbon materials is compared.It was found that the use of nitrogen containing ligands,effectively improve the electrochemical performance of carbon materials,not only having a higher specific capacitance and retention at different scan rates,but also having more excellent electrochemical stability.
