With an increase of annual production of Fengcheng heavy crude oil in Xinjiang,parts of it need to be transported to Wangjiagou oil depot through Karamy-Wulumuqi pipeline because of progressing capacity constraints of local refinery.The viscosity of Fengcheng heavy oil is very large so it can't be transported by K-W pipeline directly,so light oil should be mixed in Fengcheng heavy oil for transportation.The key to longdistance transportation of mixed oil is getting precise data of heavy & light mixed oil viscosity.From the basis of viscosity testing experiment of Fengcheng heavy oil,Karamy light oil and Fengcheng-Karamy mixed oil,Cragoe modified model ? is preferred through 14 exisiting mixed oil viscosity calculation models for calculating the viscosity of Fengcheng-Karamy mixed oil.Comparing the calculated and tested viscosity,the average relative error is 8.65%.Due to defect of this model,a new viscosity calculation model is proposed in this paper.The new model provides a convenient method for engineering application.Based on the station locations of K-W D529 and K-W D377 pipeline,hydraulicthermal calculations were conducted for the two pipelines transporting FengchengKaramy mixed oil respectively,and the maximum flow capacity of K-W pipeline for different ratio of Fengcheng-Karamy mixed oil were determined.In addition,from the point of view of dynamic energy consumption,the writer optimizes the best ratio of Fengcheng-Karamy mixed oil,in combination with the production of heavy and light oil,puts forward a mixed oil transportation task and determines the economic transportation scheme.
