SJ oilfield is located in the southeastern tip of the Niger Delta, which has enormous reserves of associated natural gas and non-associated natural gas.Due to the lack of gas processing facilities, gas flaring is a very conventional and serious issue in Nigeria, contributing significantly to greenhouse emission and environmental pollution, wasting valuable resources. So it is necessary to carry out the study on the planning scheme of the associated gas comprehensive utilization in SJ oilfield.Based on the analysis of the consumption structure of gas,the associated gas is to be utilized as a fuel supply transported to AIPP gas power plant.Assorting with the utilization system, the dehydration process of natural gas and transportation process is designed.Considering the technology process characteristics and economic efficiency of gas dehydration methods commonly used, triethylene glycol dehydration(TEG)process is adopted and HYSYS software is applied to simulate and calculate the TEG process, obtaining critical absorption operating parameters. The associated gas is exported as a rich pattern.OLGA is used to make steady simulation of export pipeline to get changes of operating parameters such as pressure, velocity, liquid holdup, surge fluid volume with different pipeline sizes and flowrate, and to acquire holdup variation with different flowrate, pressure and ground temperature. The optimal diameter specification is determined as ?141.3×4.8 to ensure safe and economical operation of the pipeline. The operating parameters of ramp up and pigging are also conducted to get surge volumes of these cases to provide elementary statistics for the design of slug catcher.
