Petrochemical enterprises established early can produce petrochemical products to meet the needs of the market,with the improvement of environmental protection requirements and the demand of high quality petroleum and chemical products,the quality of some products can not meet the requirements and the competitiveness of enterprises is declining,which demands enterprises to transform or eliminated the processing device that can not meet the current requirements,even set up new devices.Petrochemical enterprises must calculate the economic benefits before device modification,which can guide enterprises to carry out the modification of the device and product upgrades.PIMS software is based on the theory of linear programming.It can calculate that the enterprise can obtain the maximum economic benefits through the processing of limited resources,which they can use the PIMS software to simulate the production process of petroleum and chemical industry,to guide enterprises to complete the task of quality upgrade.PIMS software is used to establish the A enterprise's basic case and planning case model.The basic case is to 16 million tons per year of crude oil processing,800 thousand tons per year of ethylene production and 900 thousand tons per year of PX production as the basis for the calculation.According to the results of the calculations and the problems faced by enterprises,the main problems of enterprises is that heavy naphtha,liquefied petroleum gas and dry gas didn't make full use of,and Wax oil processing capacity is inadequate,and the economic benefit of residual oil hydrogenation unit is not fully developed.Because PX is the dominant product of A enterprise,A company should produce a large number of PX,which can solve the problem of excess the problem of excess naphtha.The C2+ of dry gas and liquefied gas is a good raw material for ethylene cracking.Gas raw materials can improve the competitiveness of ethylene plant.The planning case is to 17 million 500 thousand tons per year of crude oil processing,1 million 500 thousand tons per year of ethylene production and 2 million tons per year of PX production as the basis for the calculation.Through the calculation and analysis,we can know that after the implementation of the planning case,phenomenon that naphtha is sold can disappear,440 thousand tons per year of liquefied gas be reduced to 170 thousand tons per year,800 thousand tons per year of ethylene be increased to 1 million 510 thousand tons per year,930 thousand tons per year of PX be increased to 2 million 40 thousand tons per year,and the overall benefits of enterprises increased by 5 billion 300 million yuan per year.
