Metal-organic coordination polymers have attracted considerable attention due to the complex composition,diverse structure,simple synthesis and fascinating properties.Organic ligands are connected with metal centers via covalent bonds,coordination bonds and hydrogen bonds to build 1D,2D and 3D grid structures,many of which possess pores with a variety of shapes and sizes.Thus,they have potential applications in the fields of gas storage and separation,chiral separation,catalysis.The properties of metal-organic coordination polymers can be regulated by selecting metal centers and designing functionalized ligands.Recently,design and synthesis of functionalized organic ligands is an important strategy to develop functional metal-organic coordination ploymers.The N-containing pyridine ligands can form stable coordination bonds with the metals to construct a variety of frameworks based on the different coordination modes of the metal centers.Amino groups possess special electronic effects and selective recognition of the guest molecules because of their electronic properties and polar N-H bond.Studies on synthesis and properties of amino-containing metal-organic coordination polymers have an important role and practical value for development of new functional metal-organic coordination polymers.In this thesis,bipyridine ligands with diamino groups are designed and synthesized by using pyridine formaldehydes and aromatic diamines as the raw materials.A convenientoperating and higher-yield synthesis method is achieved through the optimization of reaction conditions and the selection of experimental processes,and the structures of ligands are characterized by NMR,IR.The synthesis methods of coordination polymers are systematically studied by using the building blocks of as-synthesized ligands and metal ions.Several coordination polymers are obtained and the structures are characterized in detail by X-ray single crystal diffraction,IR and elemental analysis.Based on the analysis of the structures,the fluorescence properties of some coordination the polymer are investigated and the results show that the different solvent molecules have significant effects on the luminescence of the coordination polymers.
