2,6-diamino-3,5-dinitro pyrazine-1-oxide(LLM-105)is an insensitive explosive and has good thermal stability.The energy of LLM-105 is 25% higher than that of TATB explosive.The study on synthesis process has an important significance for reducing the cost of the synthesis of LLM-105 and meeting the advanced weapons' need for heat-resisting energetic materials.In this study,LLM–105 is synthesized via reacting 2,6-diamino pyrazine-1–oxide with the mixture of fuming sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid.In addition,the product is characterized by IR,element analysis,mass spectrometry,melting point measurement and liquid chromatography techniques.The results show that the synthesis route is simple with high yield and high purity excluding the existence of ANPZ and avoiding the influence of trifluoroacetic acid on the environment.The synthesis of LLM-105 is performed in a large laboratory scale(50g).The influence of material ratio,temperature,time and other process parameters on the yield of LLM-105 is studied.The improved process conditions are determined.The temperature of reaction system remains at 15? during the addition process,the nitrating temperature is kept at 5?-10? in 2 hours,and the temperature of exporting material is 10?.
