As the development of low permeable reservoir is getting harder and harder,the hydraulic fracturing technology existed provides limited benefits on development.As a result,it promotes long seam fracturing developing preliminarily.However,the proppant limits the wide usage of the technology.The existed proppant owns high density which makes setting of proppant heavily during fracturing fluids flowing.Besides,the migration distance is shorter.It seriously restricts the effective length of fracture,moreover fracturing effect.The usage of ultra-light weigh proppant can solve it to ensure long seam fracturing successfully.In this paper,according to three new types of ultra-light weigh proppant(P-A,P-B,P-C),conventional physical properties were evaluated,and its settlement characteristics in different fracturing fluids were analyzed.Through testing flow conductivity of ultra-light weigh proppant,change law of flow conductivity was found in different closure pressure,sanding concentration and fiber.Compared with conventional weigh proppant,proppant suitable for long seam fracturing was optimal selection.According to the general rules and influencing factors of proppant settlement in fracture,with the help of software based on plate model,the influence on proppant settlement and migration was analyzed by operational discharge capacity,viscosity of fracturing fluid,diameter of proppant and proppant concentration.Based on formation condition and development situation in A-1 well,Fracpro-PT was used to finish the working design about long fracturing.The advantage of ultra-light proppant was proved.The result shows that the settlement of this proppant is slower,migration distance is farther,and the property of conductivity is stable.Through reasonable optimization design,the halflength of effective hydraulic fracture can reach about 180 meters.
