| The degree of onshore oil fields’ exploration and development is quite high in our country,so the development of low permeability reservoirs is the inevitable choice of increasing production.It is a problem to exploit the remaining petroleum of the low permeability reservoirs,and there is no evident effect by using conventional measures.Radial drilling is a new stimulation technology which has been applied more low permeability reservoirs and achieved great result in stimulating production of oilfields.This paper,which based on the theory of radial drilling,established a numerical simulation model of radial drilling and studied the stimulation mechanism of radial drilling from several aspects such as the change of the laminar flow field,decrease of the bottom resistance,the increase of weep area and the improvement of vertical heterogeneity seepage conditions.Through the analytic method and numerical simulation method,radial drilling capacity change was studied respectively,mainly including the drilling length,number,and location.Then it analyzed the reservoir applicability of radial drilling,and studied the reservoir thickness boundary,permeability boundary,and drilling angle boundary.Based on that,connecting radical drilling with well pattern it discussed the configuration optimization of radical drilling in the five-point well pattern and line pattern.Then,it chose a best optimal field development program.Finally,it simulated the stimulation effect matching the radial drilling and fracturing.The results proved that the longer the drilling length and the more the drilling number,more obviously to increase production,however,a limited value is existed,and the most optimal drilling location is the central reservoir.Radial drilling capacity increase amplitude decreases with the increase of reservoir thickness,decreases with the increase of permeability,and decreases with the increase of angle between radial drilling,so the stimulation range of radical drilling was quite large in the thin-layer and low-permeability reservoir.Combining radical drilling with fracturing made a better development effect,which was a useful method for the low permeability reservoirs. |
