In recent years,the application market of polypropylene composites had attracted much attention.Because of its good corrosion resistance and easy processing performance,polymer composites have gradually replaced the trend of the application of traditional materials or components in electronic and electrical fields.The way of modifying composite materials by blending was simple and easy to operate,and has important industrial application value.In this paper,polypropylene?PP?was used as the base material,and different fillers were added.Study the effect of PP composites by scanning electron microscopy,FTIR,thermal conductivity meter,resistance meter,differential scanning calorimeter?DSC?et al.test.This study laid the foundation for the properties of polypropylene composites.Boron nitride?BN?is an inorganic particle with high thermal conductivity.It was used to enlarge the application range of polypropylene composites and improve the thermal conductivity of the composites.The PP/BN composites were prepared by physical blending modification to improve the compatibility between the filler and the matrix,and the polypropylene grafted maleic anhydride?PP-g-MAH?was added as the addition.The thermal conductivity of PP/BN composites could be increased to 0.58 W/mK,and the dispersion degree of the filler had a certain effect on the thermal conductivity of the composite.The thermal conductivity of the composite was increased to 0.68 W/mK after adding compatibilizer PP-g-MAH,which was 3.6 times that of pure PP.The fiber structure of carbon fiber?CF?could form a good transmission collaterals in the composite.Added carbon fiber could not only enhance the thermal conductivity of the PP composite,but also enhance the electrical conductivity of the composite,and improve the mechanical properties,which promotes the performance enhancement of the composite system.The overall performance of the composites after adding modified carbon fiber was improved.The maximum thermal conductivity reaches 0.60 W/mK,and the tensile property increases to 36.7 MPa.The addition of carbon fiber can improve the properties of composites.Accorded to the electrical percolation of CF filled with PP,the suitable CF content in the PP/CF system was determined and BN was added to prepare the BN/CF/PP composite with thermal insulation properties.When the CF content reached 15 wt%,the CF/PP composite showed electrical percolation.After adding BN,the thermal conductivity of the BN/CF/PP composite rose steadily.The volume resistivity decreases slowly,the thermal conductivity can reached 0.97 W/m K,4.6 times that of pure PP,and the volume resistivity was 1.3 x 1014?·cm.It was a good thermal insulating composite material and the mechanical properties of the composite had no obvious decrease.The results of these experiments have studied the preparation and other properties of PP/BN,PP/f-BN,PP/CF,PP/f-CF and PP/CF/BN composites from different angles,and provide theoretical guidance for the engineering preparation and application development of polypropylene composites.
