The construction of carbon-carbon bond skeletons is the bridge of organic chemical reactions.Many complex molecules can be obtained through the artificial construction of carbon-carbon bonds.The current environmental pollution and energy shortage issues are getting more and more attention,which requires Chemists explore greener and more economical reactions and provide a more environmentally friendly synthesis strategy.The diazonium compound can remove a part of nitrogen gas under certain conditions to form a metal carbene,so the compound is easy to participate in various reactions,and it has been used in organic synthesis,chemical biology,material chemistry,and drug chemistry so far because of Its own unique role.Since the first metalpromoted diazoacetate conversion reaction was reported by Silberrad et al.in 1906,the participation of diazo compounds has undergone vigorous development,and a large number of scientific researchers have participated in the research of this reaction area.During the long research process,reports of reactions involving diazo compounds emerged.some of reactions include insertion reaction,cycloaddition reaction,rearrangement reaction,cyclopropanation reaction,coupling reaction and carbon-hydrogen bond functionalization reaction,etc..In our laboratory,the reaction of converting 2-diazo-1-phenylbutane-1,3-dione compounds to phenylacetone derivatives was studied by using a transition metal as a catalyst.At the same time,we also explored the reaction conditions for the production of phenylacetone compounds,and developed the substrate for diazo compounds after obtaining the optimal reaction conditions.Finally,the possible mechanism of the reaction was proposed.In addition,the reaction of imidazoles or pyrazoles with diacetyldiazomethane under cheap metal conditions was explored.Although no breakthrough was achieved,it laid the foundation for further research.
