Various processing additive of rubber play an important role in improving the properties of rubber products.Because many rubber additives are small molecules,and there are many shortcomings such as the lower yield,single function,easy migration,dissolution and volatilization.This is the cause of environmental pollution and health hazards.so the development of rubber additives increasingly tends to green,efficient environmental friendly.Tea polyphenols,as a natural,green and renewable biologically based material,its application in rubber has attracted widespread attention in recent years.The tea polyphenols?TP?is a kind of natural compound extracted from tea,with a large number of phenolic hydroxyl groups in its molecular structure.This paper based on Mannich and complex reaction mechanism,three kinds of polyphenols based polyfunctional additives TPN,TPZ and TPA were prepared by selecting different reaction monomers,and their chemical structure,morphology and yield were characterized respectively.And then the TPN,TPZ and TPA was used in the formula for the tread of SBR/SiO2 composites to investigate its effects on the processing performance,physical and mechanical properties,and the aging resistance et al.such properties of the tire tread compounds.The results of the study showed that,TPN has obvious effect on promoting rubber vulcanization,and it has multiple functions in improving silica dispersion,the tread wear resistance,and the aging resistance et.al.TPZ is a spherical nanoparticle whose diameter is 100-200nm.TPZ has strong reinforcing effect,and also has multiple functions to prevent rubber aging and improve tread wear resistance.TPA is a spherical,core-shell structure with a particle size of 1-3um.TPZ is the rubber additive with a main function of rubber aging resistance,and improved the dispersion of silica,and abrasion resistance,decrease the heat build-up.The development of this series of biological base multifunction additives,not only lays a solid foundation for the preparation of"green"rubber materials and products,but also beneficial to the comprehensive utilization of biomass resources.
