With the continuous development of the plastics industry,its huge demand has led to the mass production of plastic products,thus resulting in a large amount of waste plastics.It is not easy because plastics products are easy to age and degrade.Therefore,it is necessary to study the recycling of waste plastics.The waste plastics mainly studied in this thesis are waste polypropylene,its main component is PP,and there are a small amount of other substances.The miscibility is poor.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen some of the properties of the waste polypropylene to meet our needs effect.In this dissertation,the talcum powder was used to modify the waste polypropylene.Simultaneously,two different elastomers,SBS and EPDM,were used to synergistically modify the waste polypropylene.Test methods for tensile properties,impact properties,processing fluidity,and microscopic morphology of binary and ternary composites,the different content of two kinds of elastomers was studied.The two-component blend system of waste polypropylene and the ternary blending system of talc/discarded polypropylene were studied.The effect of modification of the blend system.The experimental results show that when the addition amount of talc is 20 parts,the mechanical properties of talc/waste polypropylene can be optimized;when the amount of elastomer SBS is 15 parts,the impact strength of the binary composite material is large.The increase in the amplitude and the addition of 20 parts of EPDM can significantly increase the impact strength of talc/waste PP.When the ratio of ternary composite talc/SBS/wastePP is 20:15:100,the impact strength is 18.15KJ/m2,and the tensile strength is 21.93Mpa.At this time,the overall performance is the best;and talc/EPDM When the ratio of waste PP was 20:20:100,the overall performance was the best.At this time,the impact strength was 17.79 KJ/m2 and the tensile strength was 19.93Mpa.Considering synthetically,elastomer SBS has better modification effect on.At the same time,the natural aging test was carried out by measuring the tensile strength,impact strength,processing fluidity,and scanning electron microscopy of the sample.The experimental results show that the addition of elastomer SBS accelerates the aging of the waste polypropylene,and the talc due to UV The shielding effect can delay the aging of polypropylene.
