Surface with a water contact angle of more than 150 ° and a water sliding angle of less than 10° has excellent hydrophobicity,and is called super-hydrophobic surface.It has the advantages of waterproof,self cleaning,anti-corrosion and so on.It can be widely used in the fields of textile,metal anticorrosion,construction and daily life.However,there are still a series of problems in the practical application of super-hydrophobic materials,for example,the bonding between the super-hydrophobic interface and the substrate is not stable,which causes the coating to fall off easily and has poor durability;the preparation process is complex and it is difficult to achieve industrial production;and the use of toxic solvents is not conducive to human health and environmental protection.This paper mainly prepares and studies super-hydrophobic cotton fabrics with good durability.The specific research methods and solutions are as follows:(1)The cross-linked epoxy group was used to react with the hydroxyl group on the surface of cotton fabric,and grafted the low surface energy fluoropolymer to the cotton fabric through chemical bonds,thus strengthening the connection between the hydrophobic coating and the substrate and improving the durability of the super-hydrophobic cotton fabric.The cross-linkable polymer P(GMA-r-DFMA)was synthesized by the method of ordinary radical polymerization,and the super-hydrophobic cotton fabric was prepared by solution dip coating to graft the polymer on the surface of cotton fabric.The results showed that the super-hydrophobic cotton fabric had a contact angle of 163°,a sliding angle of 5°,and good resistance to ultrasonic,acid,alkali,friction,and washing.The oil-water separation efficiency was 95%.(2)Using inorganic nano particles to increase the roughness of cotton fabric substrate and further improve the hydrophobic properties of fabrics.On the basis of the scheme(1),the cotton fabric was immersed in the tetrahydrofuran solution of P(GMA-r-DFMA)and aminated nano SiO2 prepared by hybrids of organic polymer and inorganic nanoparticles to prepare the super-hydrophobic cotton fabric.The hydrophobic properties and durability of the cotton fabric were improved compared with the scheme(1).The contact angle and the sliding angle were 165 ° and 4 °,respectively.The oil-water separation efficiency was 96%;(3)The introduction of hydrophilic monomer uniformly dispersed the cross-linkable fluoropolymer in water,thereby reducing the use of organic solvents and constructing environmentally-friendly super-hydrophobic coatings.The water-soluble epoxy fluoropolymer PGMA-b-P(HEMA-r-DFMA)was prepared by common radical polymerization method,and a mixture of water and organic solvent(Vwater:Utetrahydrofuran.Vbenzotrifluoride =13:1:1)was used as a solvent.Super-hydrophobic cotton fabrics were prepared by solution dip coating.After modified,the contact angle and the sliding angle of the fabrics were reached 160 ° and 5 °respectively,and it had good resistance to ultrasonic,acid,alkali,friction and washing performance.The low-toxic green method was used to prepare the super Hydrophobic cotton fabric.
