The Application Of Innovative Design To Costume Structure Of Meifuli Women

Li nationality has a long history and rich cultural connotation.As a branch of Li,Meifuli hadn’t many clansmen,so that they lived together for generations and kept their original culture comlete relativaly.That’s a great advantage for us to researcg tge ethnic costume culture.The costume structure,twisting dyeing process and totem with ethnic characterostocs of Meifuli has a very high aesthetic value,a inspiration for the design of modern costumes and far-reaching influence on the recreation of national costumes.In this paper,we began with the costume structure of Meifuli women.From the shirt to the skirt,and from the whole to the part structure,we not only analyzed the design elements of clothing but also transformed the connective from of structure using modern structure design techniques such as over shoulder type,split type and winding folding type to increase its functionality,aesthetics,sense of hierarchy and design.The other highlight of this paper was to study the twill-winding structure combined with dyeing and weaving process.We proposed the three-dimensional structure design of the fabric and the interlacing design of the pattern structure meanwhile,we made it to decorate different locations on costumes,This not only can create new fabric structure,but also increase the interspersed and superposition of structural elements,so as to integrate the structure,fabric and pattern,which opens up new ideas and direction for the national costume innovation.
