Using string handing automatic equipment can reduce the time to make a trip in the process of offshore drilling leading to the faster drilling speed and the short construction cycle.At present,the gap in deep water drilling equipment between china and abroad is significantly big.China possesses few independent intellectual property rights in new type drilling rigs and advanced devices.Most of key equipment and control system rely on imports.It is urgent to develop the deep water drilling equipment with self-property rights and its supporting technology in order to realize the nationalization of technical equipment and improve the ocean technology device manufacturing level.Some researches about development and current state of string handing equipment at home and abroad have been done first in this paper.Then,a monkey-board pipe handing test device has been designed by choosing electric drive and control.Finally,the dynamic characteristics simulation analysis and strength checking calculation has been carried on.All in all,this paper mainly completed the following aspects:(1)According to task requirement and actual working condition,theoretical calculations on key parts,machinery components selections and the overall design of mechanical system were done.The structure and working principle of various parts were explained;3 d models and engineering drawings were made by using Solidworks and CAD.(2)Combining the overall scheme of mechanical system,the selection of control elements,and the trajectory planning and the overall design of control system were completed;the Control software was programmed and debugged.(3)The dynamical model test device was established in the ADAMS.The dynamic analysis of tripping and access processes was finished by using the driving data from MATLAB program.Power element parameters,the path and force of the main components under two different conditions were conducted to verify the rationality of selecting the power supply parts.(4)The FEA models of key parts were built in ANSYS Workbench,according to loading boundary conditions resulted from ADAMS,the assembly was simulated in finite element method,including stress and deformation conditions of upper holding mechanism,upper Mechanical arm,upper lateral movement mechanism,upper longitudinal movement mechanism and lower holding mechanism.(5)The physical prototype was made and assembled,the joint debugging was done after the control parts had been attached to the system.
