As a new energy fuel, hydrogen has the characteristics of high combustion value, and its combustion product is water,so it is clean and pollution-free.Electrochemical water splitting is regarded as one of the most economical and ecofriendly approaches for hydrogen evolution, electrode material is one of the key factors that determine the energy consumption of electrolytic aquatic products. As more attention to has been payed to energy and environment, how to prepare low energy consumption and high performance electrode materials become a difficult problem to be solved.Copper base material has the characteristics of excellent conductivity, low price and large earth reserves,so it has a good prospect for development.Based on the present situation, this paper has prepared different kinds of electrode materials with special structure and morphology using various methods, and all show good electrocatalytic hydrogenation performance. The specific method is as follows:?1?Ag/Cu2O/Cu composite electrode was prepared by low temperature liquid phase method in the substrate of copper foam with copper foam as copper source and silver nitrate as silver source. The electrode materials were tested with linear sweep voltammetric curves,Tafel curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and the effects of the amount of silver doping and KOH on the morphology and electrochemical properties of the products were investigated.A catalytic current density of 10 mA/cm2 only requires the overpotentials of 108 mV vs RHE,and the Tafel slope of the sample is only 58 mV/dec,and the dielectric capacitance of the sample is 44.9 m F/cm2,the attenuation of current density is only 3%after 10 hours of reaction.Indicating that the Ag/Cu2O/Cu sample has outstanding HER performance and stability.?2?Ag/CuO/Cu composite electrode was prepared by the method of first step selecting NaOH as reactant.Then,Ag/Cu3P/Cu was prepared by the method of thermal decomposition using the sodium hypophosphite as a condition for phosphorus source. At the same time, the effects of the dosage of sodium hypophosphite and reaction temperature on electrocatalytic properties was investigated.A catalytic current density of 10 mA/cm-2 only requires the overpotentials of 101 mV,and the Tafel slope of the sample is only 56 mV/dec,and the dielectric capacitance of the sample is as much as44.9 mF/cm2.The results showed that the Ag/Cu3P/Cu sample has greater HER performance?3?Hierarchical butterfly-like CuO was synthesized by a simple one-step hydrothermal method with the copper nitrate as a source of copper and acrylamide as the surface modification agent. The hierarchical butterfly-like CuO sample was assemblied with some nanosheets which showing excellent OER and HER performance. And the effects of the dosage of reactant and reaction temperature on electrocatalytic properties was investigated.A catalytic current density of 10 mA/cm-2requires the overpotentials of the oxygen producing reaction and the hydrogen generation reaction are 330 mV and 172 mV respectively and the result of I-t test show that the sample has good stability and is an excellent bifunctional electrocatalytic material.
