To monitor stability of the underground rock engineering, road and bridge, slope efficiently,it is necessary to make a further study on the acoustic emission technique.Compared with some other methods, acoustic emission technology has the characteristics of timely and continuously monitoring the stability of engineering structure,so it has been widely used. The samples using in this paper came from Erdos basin.Through laboratory tests and numerical simulation, the characteristics of acoustic emission parameters and acoustic emission location characteristics in different loading stages were analyzed,in which the number of acoustic emission events and acoustic emission energy were used as the main characteristic parameters of acoustic emission,At the same time, the influence of the drill, homogeneous degree and loading rate on the acoustic emission parameters and acoustic emission location features was analyzed. The results by acoustic emission laboratory tests and numerical simulation showed that acoustic emission parameters had obvious phase characteristics during the rock rupture process. The number of acoustic emission events and acoustic emission energy were mainly concentrated at the peak stage. The acoustic emission events generated around the borehole usually had greater energy due to stress concentration. When the homogeneous degree was higher, the formation of macro crack linearity was better, and the rock sample with high degree of homogeneity was more likely to produce acoustic emission events of the "blank area".Under the condition of high load, there was a lot of acoustic emission energy release in the middle stage of loading. In addition, the rock sample rupture process mainly had two different kinds of acoustic emission events, that is,the initial acoustic emission events produced by friction extrusion and the acoustic emission events caused by the fracture of rock inner unit, the latter had the higher frequency energy transfer compared with the former.
