Nowadays,iron and steel industry environment protection has been put on the top concern,and the relevant standards are set more stringent.RD valve is the core component of the flue gas dedusting system of converter steelmaking,and its opening determines the flow rate of flue gas in the system.If the flue velocity is too high,dust particles cannot be captured by water spray in the first and second venturi tube which influences dedusting effects;moreover,excessive oxygen contents lower gas recovery rate.If the flue velocity is too low,flue will overflow from converter mouth and pollute working environment.Therefore,it is critical to precisely control RD opening in order to obtain optimum dedusting effects,high gas recovery rate as well as clean working environment.This study focuses on RD valve opening controlling system researching and development.On the one hand,electro hydraulic proportional controlling is employed to explore its advantages,such as high power output,easy to fulfill remote control,and high computability with industrial controlling system.RD valve hydraulic system is developed and ATOS proportional servo valve is used as key part.On the other hand,SIEMENS S7-300 PLC modules are used to develop controlling system.For the algorithm,this study adopts mature PID controlling strategy to optimize comprehensive performance of the closed loop controlling system.Finally,for the purpose of system statistic and dynamic performance analysis and optimization,Matlab is employed to do the simulation work.
