Metal electronic deposition was widely applied in surface decoration and coating reparation, because this technology was easily operated by simple devices. As the integrated circuit industry flourished, metal electronic deposition technology was used more and more to serve the IC development. Most coatings were under the threat of wear and corrosion. This deficiency in property has wasted a lot metal resource.Meanwhile, the hydrothermal process,as an environmentally-friendly technology, can improve the crystalline of the product, easily control the grain size and has high energy efficiency. In this work,a hydrothermal method is applied in metal electroplating for the first time. The main work in this research are respectively electroplating iron and Ni-Fe alloy under hydrothermal condition with direct current and double pulse current and testing the properties of solution and coatings. The test contained the SEM,XRD,EDS,EIS and LSV.Then the properties were compared with the coatings plated under traditional condition to find out the optimum technological parameters.Experimental data indicate that both iron coatings and Ni-Fe coatings plated under hydrothermal conditions own numerous enhancements in various aspects, especially in morphology and anticorrosion.Besides, coatings plated by the double pulse current had more obvious improvement in morphology and anticorrosion.According to the research, the Fe coating resistance of the sample that is electroplated for 20 min at a direct current intensity of 150 mA·cm-22 and hydrothermal temperature of 120°C is up to 64.08?·cm2.The oxygen content of coating placed in air for one month is only 14.69%.And the grain size of Fe coating is 44.441 nm.As to the Fe coatings plated under the condition that hydrothermal temperature of 120°C,effective current density of 150 mA·cm-2 and electroplated time of 30 min,the resistance of Fe coating is 192.1?·cm2 and the oxygen content after deposited in air for 1 month is 8.14%.The grain size is 33.483 nm.The Ni-Fe alloy coatings electroplated under direct current intensity of 45 mA·cm-2and the hydrothermal temperature of 130?for 2 h has the gran size of 36.085 nm.The resistance of it is 3514?·cm2 and the oxygen content is up to 1.47%.For the Ni-Fe alloy coating electroplated by double pulse current of 45 mA·cm-2 with the hydrothermal temperature of 130?for 2 h has the grain size of 15.488 nm.And the resistance of it is up to 10375?·cm2 while the oxygen content is 1.03%.
