The human-land renlations has always been the core of geography research.The cognition and understanding of human-land interaction are the key ways to study the coupling system.The human system influences the geographical environment system mainly through the process of production and consumption.In the early and middle stages of economic development,the production activities has the most obvious impact on the geographical environment system.With the further development of economic society,especially the further improvement of the level of urbanization,the impact of consumption activities on the geographical environment has gradually become dominant.As a key consumption activity related to the quality of human life,the influence of dietary consumption on the geographical environment,especially the impact of foodwaste generated from dietary activities on the environmenthas become one of the hot topics in academia.Under the impetus of rapid urbanization,food industry has developed rapidly and has a large scale of China,and the amount of food waste generated has also increased.Food waste not only pollutes the environment,but also affects food safety.However,food waste also has great potential for resources.Due to the characteristics of both pollution and resource coexistence,the utilization of food waste and its resource and environmental impact are important research topics in the fields of human geography,resources science,industrial ecology,and so on.This article understand the status of the integrated treatment of food waste in Lanzhou City by questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews,found that the amount of food waste produced in Lanzhou was about 318 tons,and the ratio of grease to the total amount of food waste is more than 5%.The spatiotemporal differences in the amountof production and recycling of food waste in Lanzhou were significant,and the amount of recycling is positively related to the amount of production.The amount of food waste produced in the autumn and Chengguan district was the largest.The production of food waste and waste grease of different scale catering enterprises is small,large,and medium-sized,followed by hot pots and Chinese restaurants.There is little awareness offood waste resource utilization in Lanzhou City's catering industry,and the main responsibility of some restaurants is not clear.The food waste processing system needs to be improved.Using Gabi software and CML2001 method to study the life cycle of food waste in Lanzhou city.The anaerobic digestion–aerobic composting technique for food waste has a smaller environmental impact than traditional treatment techniques(incineration and landfill).This process mainly consumes water resources,and has the largest resource consumption in the pretreatment stage,and has the largest environmental impact in anaerobic digestion stage.The environmental impact of global warming was found to be the most pronounced of any factor evaluated here,and terrestrial ecotoxicity had the least pronounced effect.The resource-environment effect of biodiesel from food waste oil is better than that of petrochemical dieselduring the life cycle.In the life cycle of biodiesel production from food waste oil,the consumption of renewable resources is the largest,and the resource consumption during the pretreatment stage is the largest,and the environmental impact of biodiesel use stageis the largest,.The environmental impact of acidification is the greatest,and the terrestrial ecotoxicity had the least pronounced effect.Inaddition,the main influence substances associated with different environmental impacts and the environmental impacts differ across different phases.Finally,from the perspective of material flow and value flow,the recycling economy synergies of resource untilizationof food waste was analyzed.Under the conditions of data acquisition limitations,by improving the efficiency of waste resource utilization and reducing the cost of raw material input and waste disposal,the valueflow synergies of food waste and waste oil resource utilization are economical,social,and environmental effects in descending order.
