Cobalt is an important strategic metal.It is an important raw material for the development of new industry.It is widely used in batteries,mechanical space and other fields.With the growing economy of our country,the consumption and utilization of cobalt has also increased day by day.The rational utilization of cobalt resources has become a common concern of the society.The phenomenon of friction and wear is not always harmful in engineering.With the deep study of the friction theory,people realize that the rational use of tribology can play a role in the construction of mechanical,physical,chemical and metal fields.The phenomenon of friction and wear is not always harmful in engineering.With the deep study of the friction theory,people realize that the rational use of tribology can play a role in the construction of mechanical,physical,chemical and metal fields.In this paper,the original drum friction and wear tester was retrofitted and tested.and two different abrasives were used to remove the oil contamination on cobalt surface.The best technological parameter is obtained,that is,the best cleaning effect is 17 r/min.The oil pollution cobalt block and abrasive 1:4 are the best volume proportion,put into the friction test machine to remove oil.The microstructure of the cobalt block after friction was studied by transmission electron microscope.The following conclusions were drawn based on the wear morphology and the friction and wear mechanism:(1)The smaller the rotational speed was,the better the effect of removing cobalt surface oil contamination was.Under the same rotational speed and proportion,the effect of rice husk to remove oil pollution is better than that of sawdust.(2)The abrasive wear of sawdust on cobalt surface contaminated by oil is mainly due to the mechanism of multi cycle repeated fatigue and the mechanism of micro cutting.The removal of oil on the surface of rice hull is mainly based on the micro cutting mechanism and the fatigue wear mechanism.The external factors affecting the removal of cobalt surface oil pollution from large to small are the rotational speed,and the type and proportion of the abrasive.(3)On the cobalt surface friction and wear by two kinds of abrasive,and measured the friction coefficient,friction coefficient is calculated in different speed and load,the formation of the results show that with the increase of the load,the friction coefficient of cobalt decreased sawdust,rice husk and jfz.As the speed increases,the friction coefficient of the surface of the block sawdust increases first,reaches a certain speed to stabilize after the rice husk on cobalt surface friction coefficient increases with the increase of speed,this is because the surface of rice husk is hard,and the main wear mechanism is micro cutting,and formed in the heat generated by friction the film has been in an unstable state.
