Water resources shortage and low utilization are common problem in water resource utilization in our country,especially in the arid region of the north,there is a serious shortage of water,the reservoir was occured to regulate water resources,has become a comprehensive utilization project of irrigation,water supply and flood control.The sudden environmental events of reservoir can cause water pollution,which is unpredictability and there is no law to follow,seriously affect the normal life of residents,break the ecological environment,cause social crisis.Small and medium-sized reservoirs in the arid areas of northern have less research on sudden water pollution incidents,and foreign studies are mainly concentrated in river waters.Fenhe reservoir is the regulating reservoir of wanjiazhai diversion project,it is the biggest centralized drinking water source project in Shanxi Province and the centralized living water source of TaiYuan city.The control of reservoir basin is large,and there are industrial enterprises and life pollution in the surrounding and upstream of the reservoir,and traffic developed.Therefore,it is very meaningful to explore the migration rule of pollutants during the sudden water pollution event in Fenhe Reservoir..This paper takes the Fenhe Reservoir as the research carrier in Taiyuan,combined the design idea of system engineering,determined the research content and technical route,the environmental profile of Fenhe Reservoir and the surrounding risk sources were identified by field survey,constructed the two-dimensional hydrodynamic and water quality coupling model.By building the model to simulate the sudden water pollution events in different scenarios of Fenhe Reservoir.The model is used to simulate the sudden water pollution in different situations of Fenhe Reservoir to reveal the concentration distribution of pollutants and the law of migration and diffusion in reservoir.It can improve water quality control decision-making efficiency,and strengthen water resources management and protection,can guide emergency work when the reservoir burst into water pollution,the research results have certain applicability.The main research results of this paper mainly include the following aspects:(1)Combined the natural characteristic condition of Fenhe reservoir,take Fenhe reservoir as a carrier,constructed the pollutant transport diffusion model corresponding to hydrodynamic characteristics on the basis of hydrodynamic model,to reflect the regularity of pollutant diffusion in the reservoir quantitatively.(2)The potential risk sources around Fenhe reservoir are identified by collecting data and site investigation.The fixed risk sources mainly include the leakage of pollutants caused by sudden water pollution incidents in the upstream of Fenhe river,the mobile risk sources mainly include the toxic and harmful substances caused by traffic accidents into the Fenhe reservoir.(3)Based on the plan of Fenhe reservoir and the reality,determined the range of simulation;surveyed the natural terrain features of Fenhe reservoir,and analyzed the DEM model,remote sensing image data and GPS measurement information,settled the reservoir edge point coordinates and import the GIS geographic information system,Thewater and land boundary of fenhe reservoir is confirmed,and the numerical simulation of triangular grid system and boundary value terrain is generated;The time series of water flow,evaporation rainfall and wind speed are generated.The two-dimensional hydrodynamic model of Fenhe reservoir under triangular grid system was selected and established,and the hydrodynamic condition of Fenhe reservoir under different working conditions was simulated by using this model.(4)The pollutant transport diffusion model of Fenhe reservoir coupled with the two-dimensional hydrodynamic model is constructed,and the model is used to simulate the sudden environmental events of different situations.The results of the simulation were analyzed to study the pollutant source,initial concentration,pollutant emission inlet,wind direction and wind speed.(5)Based on the simulation results,this paper discussed the influence of emergency environmental events and put forward the pollution control measures.By building a hydrodynamic model,the regularity of pollutant migration and diffusion in Fenhe reservoir was analyzed systematically,can guide emergency work effectively,to some extent,reduce the hazard of sudden water pollution to control the water pollution of Fenhe reservoir.
