The fully mechanized excavation face is the main dust source in the coal mine.With the continuous innovation of mining technology,the dust concentration is getting higher and higher while coal production increased,posing a great threat to the health of the workers in the fully mechanized roadway.Mastering the distribution of dust is the key to do a good job of dust control in the fully mechanized excavation face.Therefore,the simulation study on dust distribution law and dust prevention and control technology have some guiding significance for the dust prevention and control in the fully mechanized excavation face.In this paper,the method of combining theoretical analysis with numerical simulation is used to study the distribution of dust in the fully mechanized excavation face with far-pressing-near-absorption ventilation firstly.The results show that when the far-pressing-near-absorption ventilation is used,due to the limited role of the exhaust fan and the impact of the boring machine,the dust concentration in the roadway and the region of boring machine is high and the range of dust pollution is large,which is not conducive to the prevention and control of dust in the fully mechanized excavation face.Then,the application of the inside inhaling and outside pressing particle collector is introduced in the fully mechanized excavation face.By analyzing the working principle of the dust collector,the optimization scheme is designed to optimize the trumpet and outer cavity size of the dust collector.The results show that when the diameter of the outer cylinder is 800 mm and the C-type trumpet is used,the dust collecting effect of the dust collector is the best.Finally,by comparing the application effect of inside inhaling and outside pressing particle collector and far-pressing-near-absorption ventilation in the fully mechanized excavation face,it is found that the dust concentration in the roadway and the region of boring machine is lower and the range of dust pollution is smaller when the inside inhaling and outside pressing particle collector is used in the fully mechanized excavation face.It can be seen that the effect of dust prevention and control is better when the inside inhaling and outside pressing particle collector is used in the fully mechanized excavation face,which can effectively improve the working environment of the fully mechanized excavation face.
