Corrosion,in its various forms,was a serious issue to be considered in its effects on aluminum structural safety.Based on the corrosion theory and experimental conclusions,this paper combines the cellular automaton method to establish the corrosion model of aluminum under different corrosive environments.The growth of corrosion pit and the formation of the corrosion product in the corrosion process are deeply studied,and three models for simulating the corrosion process of aluminum in three different environments is established.Computer simulation helps us further understand the evolution process of metal aluminum corrosion damage.The purpose of this study is to make up for the lack of corrosion in the experiment,and to establish a reasonable corrosion model by cellular automaton to study the corrosion process of aluminum under different environments.The simulation results show intuitively the influence of different ions on the development of aluminum corrosion.By comparing,analyzing and summarizing the simulation results,it is of great significance to understand the corrosion of a single factor to metal materials and to understand the mechanism of corrosion,and can provide some support for the study of the interaction of many factors in the future.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The two dimensional cellular automaton method is applied to define the corresponding cell types and local rules based on the corrosion mechanism of aluminum.Using mathematical software MATLAB to calculate and establish corrosion models.From the mesoscopic scale,we simulated the single pit corrosion,pit corrosion and uniform corrosion on the surface of metal aluminum,and obtained the corrosion morphology under different conditions.The corrosion morphology obtained from the simulation is similar to the shape obtained from the corrosion experiment,which shows that the model can be applied to the corrosion simulation of metal aluminum.(2)In view of the corrosion of metal used in the industrial polluted area,and the effect of sulfate ion on the corrosion of metal aluminum,a model of the effect of sulfate ion on the corrosion of metal aluminum is established,and the process of promoting the corrosion of aluminum by sulfate ion is simulated.Besides,the local corrosion probability is corrected by increasing the sulfate ion's conductivity of electrolyte solution.(3)In view of the corrosion of metal aluminum used in the marine environment,combined with the effect of chloride ion on the corrosion mechanism of metal aluminum,themodel of chlorine ion corrosion damage evolution of metal aluminum is established.The effect of chloride ion on the metal surface passivation film and the process of promoting metal corrosion are simulated,and the effect of sulfate ion on aluminum corrosion is compared with the effect of chloride ion on aluminum corrosion,which explains the greater damage of chloride ion on the corrosion of metal aluminum.
