Bromination reaction is a kind of important organic reactions, and also has important applications in medicine, pesticides, dyes, flame retardant materials and other industries. Many important organic bromides, such as bromo alkane, acyl bromide, bromine ketone, bromide ether, bromoindole and bromoamide were synthesized by organic bromination reaction. In the past and now most of the bromination reaction still using liquid bromine as the brominating agent. The liquid bromine is toxic, volatile, and extremely unfriendly to the environment. In addition, liquid bromine has the disadvantages of high activity, severe reaction, difficulty in control, and many byproducts of the reaction. The supported brominated reagents are solid,non-volatile,mild in reaction, easy to weigh, easy to operate, and environmentally friendly. The bromination of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and phenols with pyridinium bromide perbromide and quinolinium bromide perbromide as solid brominating reagents were then performed to obtain a series of brominated 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and brominated phenols. The specific content is divided into five parts:?1?The research progress of brominating agents in the reaction of organic brominating agents are reviewed. The application of liquid bromine, bromide salt, ionic liquid bromide and supported bromide as brominating agent in organic bromination reaction was mainly introduced.?2?A bromination reaction of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds with pyridinium bromide perbromide as a supported solid brominating reagent obtained a series of monobrominated 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds. The effects of reaction solvents, the ratio of raw materials, reaction time, reaction temperature and other factors on the yield of the reaction were examined, and the optimal reaction conditions were determined. All compounds structures were confirmed by 1H NMR,13C NMR and elemental analysis.?3?A bromination reaction of phenolic compounds with pyridinium bromide perbromide as a supported solid brominating reagent gives a series of mono-and di-bromophenol compounds. The effects of the reaction solvents, ratio of raw materials, reaction time, reaction temperature and other factors on the yield of the reaction were examined, and the optimal reaction conditions were determined. All compounds structures were confirmed by 1H NMR,13C NMR and elemental analysis.?4?The bromination reaction of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds with quinolinium bromide perbromide as the supported solid brominating reagent gave a series of highly selective monobrominated 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds. The effects of the reaction solvents, ratio of raw materials, reaction time, reaction temperature and other factors on the yield of the reaction were examined, and the optimal reaction conditions were determined. All compounds structures were confirmed by 1H NMR,13C NMR and elemental analysis.?5?A bromination reaction of phenolic compounds with quinolinium bromide perbromide as a supported solid brominating reagent obtained a series of mono-bromophenol compounds. The effects of the reaction solvents, ratio of raw materials, reaction time, reaction temperature and other factors on the yield of the reaction were examined, and the optimal reaction conditions were determined. All compounds structures were confirmed by 1H NMR,13C NMR and elemental analysis.
