| Sunlight introduction lighting is one of the most important applications of solarenergy. Using optical fiber to introduce sunlight to illuminate dark rooms in buildingsnot only is an effective way to save electricity, but also makes people enjoy thesunlight and thus improves life to some extent. Theoretical discussion and simulations,as well as experiments were carried out on the topic of optical fiber sunlightintroduction system. Works as follow were done:1. On the basis of analysis of sun movements relative to the earth, the overallsolution of the distributed track-free fiber guiding sunlight illumination system wasproposed. The distributed collectors’ directions and arrangements were decided. Usingthe technic of appropriate off-the-focus and the method of array combination, fiberswere arranged on the receiver plane to meet the requirement of multi-way all-timelighting.2. The optical design and performance evaluation of the fiber guiding sunlightillumination system was done, including the design and effect analysis of the Fresnellens which is the key component for collecting light, and the light energy transfer andillumination analysis in the system.3. The light energy transfer and illumination of the system were analyzed byLightTools, an software for optical simulation.4. A part of the fiber guiding sunlight illumination was set up, and experimentswere done, including the measurement of the movement of the converging spot, theluminance of the introducing sunlight and so on. |
