Into decades, cable-stayed bridge occupy an important position of modern bridge structures because of its good technical and economic indicators and the aesthetic value.But as a life of cable-stayed bridge – stay cables' durability is not optimistic: the actual life is much lower than the design life, which brings to the social and economic burden. This makes the study of the corrosion behavior of stay cables and anchoring systems in the atmosphere has become essential issue. But atmospheric exposure test has a long cycle, influenced by many factors. So the study of the natural environment simulation laboratory accelerated corrosion test methods for accelerated laboratory corrosion test by studying the corrosion behavior of the atmosphere to predict the stay cables is a very valuable research. Around this research topic, the main contents of this paper are as follows:?A brief review of the development process of the cable-stayed bridge, main causes of the disease are summarized and analyzed. And summarizes the current research study of stay cable durability and briefly introduces the research background and research contents.?Describes two test methods of metal corrosion test environment, and one of the laboratory accelerated corrosion tests conducted four case study describes the situation, summed up its test method and evaluated. From this analysis the atmosphere affect the durability of stay cables and anchoring system of environmental impact factors.?Describes the equipment and more complex factor cycle corrosion test used in this test is applied, materials, test equipment design, test methods and principles are introduced.?The test results were analyzed using qualitative analysis chart method; gray correlation analysis, accelerated evaluation method for quantitative analysis. Complex multi-factor evaluation cycle and atmospheric corrosion test exposure test correlation and acceleration.?In the last section of the paper, the whole research is summarized, and there is insufficient research also exist for the next research,the prospects to the further research are put forward.
