Research On The Planning Of Street Landscape Space In Shangshiqiao Livable Rural Communities

With the proceeding of urbanization and urban-rural integration, rural landscape changes greatly. Street landscape space is an essential factor of rural landscape. It reflects changes of rural landscape directly and participates in the formation and organization of rural landscape. Several phenomenon, such as mass-demolishing mass-construction, image project, lack of innovation and a fad of worshiping everything foreign and fashion, occur during the construction of rural landscape. Meanwhile the local resources and characteristic cultures have received only scant attention. The changes of rural landscape bring further discussions about rural human settlement livability. Planning of rural street landscape space is an important part of rural human settlement improvement and has great theoretical and practical significance for the promotion of livability of rural community and overall performance of rural landscape.Shangshiqiao Village is located in the south of Qianshan scenic area, Anshan City, Liaoning Province. It is a typical tourism village and its development relies on the geographical environment of the scenic area. Its area is vast and there are many kinds of streets in this village. Previous research on planning of street landscape space for such kind of villages focus on tourism layout and industry development, and pay more attention on street beautification than on livability. With the development of Shangshiqiao Village, this village now demands the construction of livable village and it is able to proceed it. We take rural community street landscape space as our research object. This conforms to the development of the village and the needs of the villagers.First, based on livability and features of rural community, this article concludes landscape space features of livable rural communities and six requirements for street landscape space. This is the first conclusion of this research. Then the text lists related subjects and practice of street landscape space in typical cases of livable village, and discusses directions of planning of street landscape space in Shangshiqiao Village. Author investigates the essential attributes of livable rural street landscape space and define three levels and several planning gists of our research. During the investigation of the current situation of Shangshiqiao Village, author analysis drawbacks and advantages from the perspective of the three levels, and exhibit several factors that affect the livability of street landscape space of Shangshiqiao Village. This is the second conclusion of this research. Finally, in the core chapter this article proposes the street landscape space planning strategies of livable rural community for Shangzhiqiao Village from the perspective of region, linearity and node, illustrates several concrete planning methods, and get the last conclusion of this research.
