Galloping of iced conductor with wind is large deformation nonlinear transient vibration, which frequency is a low. it threatens the safe of transmission lines.For example,when the conductor galloping is serious, it can cause the adjacent conductor collision which make flashover and destroy the transmission system. Therefore, studying on conductor's reason and finding the method of a-nti-galloping are practical significance.Stduying iced transmission conductor with static loads:on the basis of previous work and considering the impact of adjacent stalls and insulator to conductor endpoint constraints, the paper find out the transmission conductor two-dimensional the simplified model under static loads.Then the stiffness coefficient of along the wire axis is derived, the author make program,by using the ANSYS in the APDL language,which can find out the iced conductor shape.The program is verified the feasibility by using the analytical method. Finally, the author study to how uneven ice load effect to conductor's shape.The results show that:when calculating the transmission conductor form,we should consider the non-uniform ice affect transmission wire suspension state.Stduying iced transmission conductor with dynamic load:Based on the two-dimensional simplified model of transmission conductor, the author finds out the simplified three-dimensional model of galloping and derives the equivalent stiffness coefficients of spring. Using the axial non-compressible materials and beam188 which is the released bending degree of freedom, the conductor galloping phenomenon is studied by the finite element analysis software. The program which calculate of transmission conductor galloping is verified the feasibility by using the literature validate. Finally how different wind speed, damping ratio, span, initial tension and libration damping ratio effect conductor galloping rule and amplitude are studied.The results show that:Wind speed, initial wind Angle of attack, span, initial tension and translational damping ratio affect the conductor vertical amplitude of galloping.Studying on the spoiler rope anti-galloping effect:the aerodynamic coefficients of the simulation in the pass of iced conductor galloping with Fluent software, and then the feasibility of aerodynamic coefficient method to calculate the verification pass wire in aerodynamic coefficients of the test data, the author analyzes icing aerodynamic coefficients of the spoiler rope winding. The results show that:The spoiler rope is good for inhibition by Den Hartog galloping mechanism,but it is not good for torsional galloping mechanism caused by O.Nigo1.
