Hydraulic asphalt concrete in engineering practice has been developing rapidly, but also in the field of materials research is imperfect. When asphalt concrete mixture ratio is designing, In order to ensure the adhension of aggregate and asphalt even then the core wall of seepage prevention safety and reliability.Asphalt concrete aggregate is generally choose the alkaline rock broken gravel. But the artificial rock fracturing is expensive besides bring some environmental problems. In the xinjiang region, the natural gravel aggregate distribution range, can use local materials, convenient and economic. Due to the complexities of natural gravel aggregate lithology, acid, alkaline unfavorable judgment, prepared with natural gravel aggregate adhesion properties of asphalt concrete can or not achieve the requirements of alkaline broken aggregaten still need to further research and experiment demonstration.This article consider mainly from two aspects of natural gravel aggregate interface and asphalt mortar,Respectively analyzed the natural gravel aggregate acid alkali method, studied the different physical and mechanical properties of asphalt mortar, on the basis of further reserch the gravel aggregate interface and adhesion of asphalt mortar strength, with aggregate interface and the tensile strength of asphalt rubber paste the mechanical performance as evaluation index of the adhesion quality directly, the conclusion is as follows:(1) natural gravel aggregate of acid alkali method include petrographic method, the content of SiO2 method, alkalinity modulus method, alkali value method. In engineering practice, the lithofacies method is used firstly to conduct a preliminary decision, then SiO2 content and alkali value method is adopted to improve the comprehensive judgement. Alkalinity modulus method is not recommended.(2) the concentration of the fillers affect the performance of asphalt mortar mostly, under the same test condition, the greater the filler concentration, asphlt mortar got the smaller penetration, the higher softening point, the bigger tensile strength; packing grading may also affect the properties of asphalt mortar,the fine packing grading, asphalt mortar have the same change rule.(3) ensure the packing grading equally, under the same aggregate interface,(the adhesion of) cement asphalt mortar is stronger than limestone powder asphalt mortar, and submerged in the water after forty-eight hours,cement the tensile strength of asphalt mortar with the granite aggregate interface is still stronger than the limestone powder asphalt with the granite aggregate interface, manifest that the cement asphalt mortar have stronger capacity about resist to water damage. the tensile strength of asphalt mortar with granite aggregate interface is increasing following the greater concentration of packing, which is as same as the change laws of asphalt mortar.(4) the experimental research and engineering practice had been proved that cement as packing not only improve the adhesion of asphalt and aggregate, but also was beneficial to improve the workability of the asphalt concrete construction, enhance the ability of deformation of the core wall of asphalt concrete. |
