With the improvement of people's living quality, the traditional tools of travel slowly replaced by cars, people can travel more convenient and quick, but the rapid growth of the Rapid growth of the number of cars made the city traffic is very congested, at the same time, also influence people's travel security.Vehicular ad-hoc networks(Vehicular Ad- hoc Networks, VANET) appearance is a good way to solve the problem of traffic congestion, travel safety.VANET is a special kind of mobile self-organized network, due to the movement of vehicles in the VANET quickly, network topology changes very frequently, so the general self-organization in the network security policy and security mechanisms cannot be directly applied to the Vehicular ad-hoc networks, how to effectively protect the safety of VANET is urgently needed to solve problems.Intrusion detection is one of the important means to guarantee the network security, however, of Vehicular ad-hoc networks intrusion detection technology at home and abroad at present study also is less.In this paper, starting from the characteristics of Vehicular ad-hoc networks intrusion detection technology was studied, mainly to do the following several aspects:First of all, according to the characteristics of Vehicular ad-hoc networks, this paper adopts a distributed intrusion detection model, technical scheme was introduced in detail, using the advantages of distributed detection are analyzed in detail.Secondly, in order to improve the ability of detecting a single node in the distributed intrusion detection model is local detection ability, this paper puts forward an improved random forest detection algorithm.Improved algorithm in order to verify the usability and effectiveness, this paper designed two sets of simulation experiment.The experimental results show that the improved algorithm is proposed in this paper to raise the detection rate and reduce the false alarm rate and non-response rates.Finally, This paper summarizes several authentication scheme of distributed intrusion detection model security,according to the characteristics of the Vehicular ad-hoc networks intrusion detection model design scheme of the two authentication model security.For the subsequent simulation experiment provides the ideas and methods.
