Line loss rate is an important economic indicator of power supply company. In order to reduce the line loss and save energy, using theoretical line loss calculation technology of the distribution network to learn about the size of the line loss is particularly important. Not all the nodes in the power distribution network are measured nodes, which brings certain difficulties to achieve the accurate theoretical line loss calculation. The traditional way uses the simplified approximate method to calculate the line loss of distribution network. The traditional method is set up in the line loss calculation of some assumed conditions, which can not meet the current demand for loss reduction analysis and line loss management.At the same time, along with the development of communication technology,computer technology and intelligent technology, most of the theoretical line loss calculations are performed by computer software. But the "information island" still exists, the data exchange of related data input and output is very tedious and easy to get wrong. The traditional theoretical line loss calculation system is not based on international standard. Therefore, it is particularly important to build the distribution network theoretical line loss calculation system based on CIM.After analyzing the requirements of the distribution network theoretical line loss management system with typical functions of management and calculation, the thesis builds the theoretical line loss calculation object models based on IEC61970/61968 standard. Then the thesis proposes the synchronous line loss calculation in distribution network based on the incomplete measured and completed the design of line loss calculation software based on CIM. The main work are as follows:(1)For the problem that real-time measurement values are not obtained in the same period, the thought of interpolation is proposed to avoid the error of data acquisition time difference. For not completely measurement node, the calculation method of injection current is proposed and the real-time data is fully used to improve line loss calculation accuracy.(2)At the same time, the CIM is extended to satisfy the original CIM of distribution network theoretical line loss calculation. Base on the above content, this thesis will put forward the calculation system of theoretical line loss based on CIM. This system not only can read system information data of SCADA, GIS, DMIS and so on, also can achieve data exchange through XML and SVG language. Line loss calculation module can make full use of the collected real-time data to conduct calculation by using flow algorithm of backward/forward sweep method, as a result, the real-timeperformance and accuracy of the calculation is improved.(3) This thesis realizes the theoretical line loss calculation online system of distribution network, and uses example to prove the system's availability.This thesis proposes the synchronous line loss calculation method in distribution network based on incomplete measurement, and completes the design of the online distribution network theoretical line loss calculation system. The function of this system can meet the requirements for online calculation of theoretical line loss distribution network, and the calculation results can provide the basis for distribution network operation and management decisions.
