Energy crisis is a pressing issue which concerns the sustainable development of mankind. Currently, the energy crisis directly affects the development of national economy and stability of every country. Wind energy is a kind of renewable clean energy; wind turbine is main and the most efficient equipment use of wind power. Research and development of wind power technology is becoming one of the key projects of enterprises. Actively developing wind power industry is conducive to ease the energy crisis, adjust the energy structure and improve the ecological environment. Today. because of its positive significance on environmental and energy issues, wind power has been rapidly developed and highly valued by governments around the world.At present, single capacity of wind turbine has been gradually developed to megawatt large wind turbine from the initial few hundred kilowatts small turbine, and put into commercial markets step by step. The development of all kinds of wind power technology is in the ascendant. Compared with constant speed wind turbine, wind turbine manufacturers of each country more prefer variable speed variable pitch wind turbine in considering its high efficiency and practical applicability.In nature, due to the randomness of wind, the instability of wind speed and the transformation of wind direction, wind power system is a kind of multivariable nonlinear system; mathematical model also can't be accurately established. In order to improve the service life of turbine and utilization efficiency of wind energy, research work of the new wind turbine technology has been extensively carried out worldwide, mostly concentrated in the control of pitch system, unit yaw, power generation system and grid-connected system, etc. In order to enterprise requirement-improve output efficiency of wind power generators and further optimize large wind power generators control, this thesis carried out related research work.According to actual production of enterprise, this thesis mostly research control technology of variable speed variable pitch wind power generators. Based on researching existing wind power generators in enterprise, this thesis compares it with the conventional PID control system, and makes detailed analysis and research on fuzzy control of variable speed variable pitch wind power generators. It schemes out a fuzzy PID control system on the basis of expounding the principle and classification of fuzzy control. The controller of fuzzy PID control system has not only a strong adaptability of fuzzy control, but also a higher accuracy of the PID control. This thesis conducts MATLAB/Simulink/Bladed software simulation experiments on the fuzzy PID control system, and achieves satisfactory results. The analysis of simulation results show that fuzzy PID control system has a more smoothly output and more timely control response, it can optimize the output power of variable speed variable pitch wind power generators, improve the output efficiency of wind power generators, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprise at the same time.
