The process of thermal environment transition is usually accompanied by mutations of environment temperature, people's thermal sensation always changed when transited between the different environments. We can predict people's thermal sensation in the dynamic environment reasonably based on the study on people's physiology and psychology change rule in the process of thermal environment transition. It has important practical significance to build comfortable?healthy and energy-efficient thermal environment and to the passive use of natural climate element.This paper investigated the change rule of human's thermal reaction in the process of thermal environment transition and the thermal comfort condition in different transitional spaces in order to explore people's physiology and psychology change rule in the same process, analyze thermal comfort condition in the different transitional space and the impacts to thermal sensation when passed from different transitional space and then provide theoretical basis and guidance to the engineering design of different transitional space.This paper took a market at Zhu Zhou as the research object to study people's physiology and psychology change rule in the process of thermal environment transition and the thermal comfort condition in different transitional spaces. At first, we carried on field test and questionnaire survey in two different transition spaces which have or not air conditioning and gained thermal comfort condition in two different transition space and the differences between them. Then we did tracking study of subjects' physiology and psychology change rule and relationship between thermal sensation and skin temperature together with it's variation rate in the process of thermal environment transition of 20 students, and then compared the different impacts when passed from different transitional spaceWe can drawn the following results through field test?questionnaire survey?tracking study and statistical analysis to the experimental data: First, different designs of transitional spaces have different effects on thermal environment. Then, the utilization of air conditioning in transitional space in winter can improve its thermal comfort effectively and also can accelerate the rise and change amplitude of skin temperature, and then the skin temperature could recover to a comfortable level as soon as possible. But in the summer, there isn't much influence on the thermal comfort whether or not to use air conditioning in transitional spaces and it has little impact on people's skin temperature change after entering indoor. On the other hand, the research on the relationship between thermal sensation and environment temperature, skin temperature, skin temperature together with it's variation rate in the process of thermal environment transition indicated that there was obvious relevance between thermal sensation and environment temperature during the entire process of thermal environment transition, environment temperature is one of the main influence factors of thermal sensation. And there was not obvious relevance between thermal sensation and skin temperature. We can draw the conclusion that mean skin temperature cannot used to evaluate human thermal comfort alone and also cannot used to predict thermal sensation in the dynamic thermal environment directly. But there was obvious linear relationship between thermal sensation and mean skin temperature together with its variation rate. So, mean skin temperature together with its variation rate can be used to evaluate the thermal sensation in the process of thermal environment transition.This paper gained the predictive model of people's thermal sensation during the process of thermal environment transition based on the statistical analysis of experimental data. The results of this paper could provide theoretical foundation and basis for thermal comfort study of dynamic thermal environment and engineering design of different transitional spaces.
