With the number of CNG cylinders users growing,strengthening scientific research,perfecting the means of detection and evaluation methods of the CNG cylinders in service as soon as possible is imperative.In this paper,we provide theoretical and technical support for the safety inspection of fiber-wrapped reinforced composite cylinders with metal liner used for automotive vehicles in the process of using,based on the methods and means of the mechanics theoretical analysis,the hydrostatic test for strength and the gas sealing test,and so on.It will have very important theoretical and practical significance.The paper introduces the structure,standard requirements,design principle and measurement procedures of fiber-wrapped reinforced composite cylinders with metal liner used for automotive vehicles.Discusses the technical requirements and constraints of winding layers and metal liner design;shows the detection process and key technology;proposes the core task of thesis research,that is the design of CNG cylinder hydrostatic test system and gas tightness test system,and the finite element analysis of CNG cylinder for vehicles.It lay the necessary foundation for the further comprehensive detection and evaluation of the safety of fiber-wrapped reinforced composite cylinders with metal liner used for automotive vehicles.The composition and function of the fiber on-board winding cylinder hydraulic pressure test device and gas-tight detection device were studied.We mainly developed the hydraulic test system and air tightness detection system,which include power,execution and data acquisition and control unit,providing the necessary conditions for a comprehensive testing and evaluation of the cylinders.Finite element analysis methods of fiber-wrapped reinforced composite cylinders with metal liner were studied.And the static analysis of wrapping cylinders were finished,with the finite element analysis software ANSYS to model,mesh,and calculate,providing a convenient means for the evaluation of the safety of the gas cylinder accurately.
