Cast-in-situ insulation composite shear wall is a new type of sandwish wall. The similarity between it and the previous composite wall is that they are both comprised of three layers: the internal and external concrete, the middle insulation layer, and then through the connecting members, the two concrete layers behave as a whole. However, the innovation of this article is that there is holes in the insulation layer, which a reinforcing bar goes through the hole. When constructing, the short reinforced concrete columns has been formed since concrete fills in holes and wrap the stiffeners, which enables a better connection between the two sides of the concrete. The composite shear wall characterizes with energy saving, light weight, low cost, good mechanical performance, market prospect etc.As a new type of structural component, to verify its effectiveness and practicality, and provide basis for application in engineering, This paper studys on the mechanical properties of the cast-in-situ insulation composite shear wall, the main research contents and results are as follows:(1)Three specimens were made base on three forms of key link space of 300 mm,400mm,500 mmrespectively, and based on the failure process and failure feature, the cracking load and ultimate load, the variation of concrete and steel's stress and strain as the applied load was increasing,we can draw some conclusions that the fracture of the specimen is a kind of brittle fracture;the space between key links has few impact on stability outside plane;Applying the code f ormula, for the design og concrete structures, which is used to calculate the axial compressive strength of reinforced concrete colunms to calculate the formula of insulation composite shear wall need multiplication by reduction factor.(2) Three sandwish blocks' shear experiment were tested under vertical load, and relative displacement between insulation layer and the two concrete layers was recorded, deformation characteristics with load increasing was observed, load-slip curves was drew, then the calculated bearing capacity of the specimens was compare with the theoretical value, which shows that, the deformation of the short reinforced concrete column, which connecting internal and external concrete layer, goes through elastic- elastic-plastic- plastic stage under vertical shear load, thus the short reinforced concrete column plays a very good role in the resistance of the shear stress between the inner and outer layer of concrete, th e two layers of concrete can work together.(3)Based on the static load test, the finite element analysis software ABAQUS was used to simulate the whole process of the cast-in-situ insulation composite shear wall from loading to destroy, and the simulated results were compared with the test findings; Contrast models were set up based on different factors. The research results of this study proved the feasibility and practicability of Cast-in-situ insulation composite shear wall, and provided basis for follow-up study. The research is of great significance for engineering de sign and practice.
