The heat pump technology has been paid much attention in recent years in the world, using this technology, we can convert the low grade heat energy stored in the air,water and soil to the useable high grade heat energy, it is one of the important way to the energy-saving. The heat pump air-conditioning and heating system is gradually used in the modern buildings, compared to this system, the combined traditional center air-conditioning system and heating system has lower cop and more energy-wasted of the primary energy source. So the replace of the heat pump air-conditioning and heating system to the traditional air-conditioning system will has profound influence in the energy-saving and environmental protection..This paper take a senior hotel in Wuhan as the research object, analysis the application of the heat pump air-conditioning and heating system in the actual project. Introducing the basic principle and the technology advantages of the air source and lake water source heat pump air-conditioning and heating in the first. Then compared to the compression-type water chiller, and gas boiler in the investment cost, energy cost and the energy-saving potential. The result shows that the air and lake water resource heat pump air-conditioning and heating system has the lowest operating energy cost and the pollutant discharge. Finally we analysis the statistical data of the inner house temperate and the temperate of the hot water, the data shows that the air and lake water resource heat pump air-conditioning and heating system can meet the hotel's need and the HVAC's requirement, at the same time, we gathered the monitor data of the operation energy cost.According to the monitored data gathered from the system, and the analysis of the actual application of the air and lake water source heat pump system, verifying that the air and lake water resource heat pump air-conditioning and heating system is applicable in the regions like Wuhan. Comparing with five different air-conditioning and heating system, result shows that the air and lake water resource heat pump air-conditioning and heating system is more energy-saving and environmental-protection. Comparing to the year of 2012 and 2013, the operating cost in 2014 has a decrease of ?1.033 million, decreased by 17.2%, the use of standard coal is decreased by 33.66% to 555.3 tons, and the emission of carbon dioxide is reduced by 1538.3 tons. This paper provide a applicable reference for the use of the air and lake water resource heat pump air-conditioning and heating system in the alike region of Wuhan.
