The steel bridge has many advantages such as large span, strong torsional stiffness, high intensity, light dead weight, convenient prefabrication and machining, short construction period, good integrity, succinct and beautiful appearance, small effect on external environment. Compared with concrete bridge, it can decrease self-weight, get greater net height under the bridge. With the development of the transportation, steel bridge are widely used in bridge construction.In this paper, the construction technology of deck type beam-arch combination steel bridge, Tian bridge in Quanzhou, Fujian are studied. The deck type beam-arch combination steel bridge with large-span has such characters: large span, long cantilever girder construction, small structural stiffness, large deformation. Its wind conditions are complex at the bridge site during construction. It may encounter typhoon, under stringent construction risky conditions. The technique of a bridge component geometry control is more complicated since bridge site is located in Jinjiang. The steel members of main bridge are affected by the tidal. Large Erection of the steel component needs large tonnage. These make the erection difficulty. In order to ensure the lifting quality, it is need to control steel components elevation, linetype, etc. The key technologies and key components installation process of erection and construction of the master large span steel structures combined with long cantilever and arch were researched to ensure project quality. We gain construction experience which will promote the technological innovation. We sum up the construction process, which is benefit future similar projects.
