The torsion pendulum system is widely used in weak force test experiments, such as high-precision ground gravitational experiments and fundamental physics experiments. In these experiments, it usually need angle detection instrument to measure the angle change of the torsion pendulum system, then torque can be known. Therefore, the torque detection resolution of the torsion pendulum system is limited not only by the thermal noise of the torsion pendulum but also by the noise from the angle measuring instrument. The requirement of angle detection resolution in high-precision ground gravitational experiment is becoming higher and higher now, this paper proposes an electrostatic torsion pendulum system in order to reduce the requirement of the angle measuring instrument in high-precision weak force testing experiment, this system improves the angle detection sensitivity of the torsion pendulum system angle to external torque by employing electrostatic spring compared to the traditional torsion pendulum and don't change the signal-to-noise radio. Higher torque resolution can be acquired in low frequency by employing electrostatic torsion pendulum compared traditional torsion pendulum when the torque noise of the angle measuring instrument is much higher than the thermal noise of the torsion pendulum system in real experiments. We constructed electrostatic torsion pendulum system and verifies the above-mentioned theory by selecting parameters and designing experimentsKey feature test research of high precision space inertial sensor can be started based on torsion pendulum system. High precision space inertial sensor is one of the key technology of the detecting space gravitation wave, and the disturbance brought by the residual charge of the test mass of the inertial sensor is one of the noise source that must be considered. UV discharging is employed to manage and control the charge of the test mass internationally. This paper proposes a high precision potential measuring system of the surface of the conductor based on torsion pendulum system to measure and evaluate the effect of the charge control of the test mass. We finished the whole experiment system including constructing the model, analyzing the theory, analyzing the error, assemblingand constructing the system. The scheme can be used to measure the temporal variation of the electric potential of the test mass and the precision of 0.7mV can be achieved. The proposal and accomplishment of the scheme can provide necessary technology means for the effective evaluation of the following charge management.
