There are a great many native stoneworks in Xiangxi area because it is rocks environment around but few research for that.In this paper, we research the native stonework landscape by field survey for more than two months, Collect and card the excellent native stonework landscape in Xiangxi area. Base on the study of the native stonework landscape in Xiangxi, we summarized the four characteristics of the native stonework landscape and the material characteristics including the stone property, the color and texture.Then, by the way of the classification of the comprehensive judgment method thr ough phenomenology, the native stone landscape is divided into five categories. Meanwhile, we establish a scientific, complete, high quality and general atlas of the native stonework landscape in Xiangxi. The Atlas use the form of pen drawing to show and code the native stonework landscape. In this way, the readers can easier to consult and use it. The atlas of the native stonework landscape in Xiangxi can not only provide visual material of the native stonework landscape to the related design personnel but also provide a new way or method for shaping the future of the regional landscape in this area.Afterwards, in the practice exploration part, use the environment design of the town of tea in Xiangxi as an example, according to "Atlas of the native stonework landscape in Xiangxi " of the content and the design of regional culture, from 7 aspects, including road pavement, step, Protective facilities and supporting facilities, the wall, irrigation and water conservancy, tea tin, landscape node of the town of tea and so on, and use the design technique of the native stonework to Create the town of tea environment design of the characteristics of Xiangxi.
