With the rapid development of mechanical engineering technology, various new precision machining equipment are emerging. The design based on cutting process of piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer is a fruitful exploration work.Ultrasonic vibration cutting technology is in the combination of the theory of ultrasonic piezoelectric materials, the development optimization of mechanical structure, the use of electronic information technology regulation work process measurement, control system, circuit module embedded in equipment and piezoelectric vibration cutting of materials-mechanical coupling of implementation. The vibration frequencies above the ear hearing threshold 20khz,which is imposed in cutting tools, makes the tool in the process of cutting vibration produce a regular, stable and periodic contacts and separation between the tool and the workpiece. This separation characteristics reduces cutting force and cutting heat in the serving process, improving machining precision and surface quality of the parts.Reading a summary of existing research on the basis of the information of related directions, the author researched on ultrasonic vibration cutting technology and two-dimensional ultrasonic vibration cutting technology based on ordinary sandwich piezoelectric transducer for the object, as described in the following main research:(1)Summarizing the study on ultrasonic vibration cutting machining, the author also discusses the significance of study on this subject.(2)Based on the ultrasonic vibration cutting principle and function of ultrasonic vibration cutting system, a three-dimensional model of one-dimensional ultrasonic vibration cutting technology has been put and the analysis of its operating principle and structure of design are carried out.(3)According to the finite element method and modal analysis theory, a dynamic analysis of the one-dimensional structure is among the chapter, through the results of which the author completed the prototype and its assembly.(4)The author designed cutting practice for one-dimensional ultrasonic vibration cutting head, after measuring the results, and made a comparative summary of the cutting effect on workpiece surface roughness in the setted experimental variables, and infered the influence from variation of experimental set variables on cutting temperature.(5) On the basis of the principle of ultrasonic elliptical vibration, a design of a new type structure in two-dimensional ultrasonic vibrating is drew. After processed the two-dimensional ultrasonic vibration cutting head modal analysis, by changing the major structure to take on the analysis, the author completed the prototype.(6)Making a summary of research work and its inadequacies, the author discusses the prospect of ultrasonic vibration cutting technology.
