| Locomotive plays an important role in the transportations, which promotes the development of the national economy. This mode of transportation gets common development all over the world because of its large capacity, high speed, low energy consumption, and low transportation cost. Along with the continuously improvement of the speed and the increment of the carrying weight, the load conditions of the locomotive bearing parts become much worse than before. At the same time, the development of the railway vehicle is moving towards high-speed and overloading. The safety of the railway vehicle puzzles people. However, as one key component in the locomotive contorts parts, the manufacturing quality of the wheelset has a directly impact on the safe of locomotive running. The quality of the installation process has more directly impact on the safe.The quality is affected by many factors and there are not enough study of manufacturing parameters in the domestic. Manufacturing parameters would cause the difference in the interference quantity of the wheel axle, which would lead to the uneven stress distribution, increase the plastic deformation and the stress concentration of the wheel axle. This paper selects the wheelset as the research object and analysis the impact of design parameters and manufacturing parameters on the quality of the installation and the stress on the wheelset, which is based on domestic research. The research could provide a theoretical basis for the design of the production of wheelset and the basis for the intelligent detection of modern locomotive and state of the identification of diagnostic systemThe main contents of this paper are as following:(1) The installation model is established in the finite element software ANSYS and used to simulate the installation process. Based on the calculation of the model, the paper would get the results of the process of the installation and contrast the change of the contact stress and the Von Mises stress of the wheelset in various stages of the installation.(2) Based on the research of design parameters of the wheelset, the research analysis the impact of factors such as magnitude of interference, friction factor, hollowness, arc radius and overhanging volume on the quality of the installation and contrast the changing trends of the installation under different parameters. The best value of various parameters is calculated by comparing the calculation results, which could provide a theoretical basis for the design of the production of wheelset.(3) Based on the research of manufacturing parameters of the wheelset, this research introduces several typical types of the form error and analysis the impact of manufacturing parameters factors on the contact pressure and the Von Mises stress of the fitting surface. The result shows that the form error has bad influence on the quality of the joined wheel. And the result draws the error range of the wheelset in the process of production, which could provide a theoretical basis for the installation process of the wheel. |
