During a new period of major adjustment of energy structure for the current world, the development and utilization of clean energy has made considerable attention and wide development. As one of the most mature in technology and development prospects in commercial in the new energy technology, wind power especially has drawn various countries's attention and got the priority to be developed. In practical engineering applications, the traditional foundation design technology for wind turbine tower is not mature enough. With the development of the new situation in the new period, the traditional foundation can not satisfy people's requirements for the wind turbine tower's construction in the security and economic aspects. So detailed research on the mechanical properties of foundation for wind turbines is an urgent job. Based on the current actual needs, this paper presents a new type of foundation:prestressed anchor bolt foundation. Nowdays bolt is widely used in geotechnical engineering. It is a new attempt to apply the anchor structure to the foundation for wind turbines. The anchor foundation has the advantages of high capacity, easy construction, engineering cost savings and so on.Introduced the basic system of prestressed bolt foundation, and through comparative analysis, the bond-slip relationship model between the anchor and anchorage slurry, anchorage body and foundation rock mass interface were determinded. Based on the bond-slip relationship model, the load transfer mechanism of bolt and empennage-exponding bolt were detailedly analysed. Under drawing load, the distribution of axis force, shear stress and slip formulas of the two types of bolt along the anchor direction were carried out. This paper drew the ultimate pullout capacity of the two types of bolt.It analyzed the mechanical properties of the two types of bolt in elastic stage based on deformation theory and energy variation theory. It compared with the results from the calculation based on bond-slip relationship established. The same conclusion can be got. Established the formula for calculating the critical anchorage length respectively based on the results of the bond-slip relationship model and deformation theory. This paper analyzed the anchor group's impact on the single bolt's bearing capacity based on volume equivalent load method.Through calculation analysis of samples, analyzed the parameters of bolt rod, anchor slurry and anchorage length.etc impact to the mechanical properties of the two types bolt foundation. By the finite element analysis software ABAQUS, analyzed the mechanical properties of the two types bolt foundation and verified the mechanical properties.
