Bridge crane,which is a kind of handing machinery,is widely used in machinery manufacture?metallurgy?iron and steel?terminals and so on.This paper is based on the 50/5t ×33.5m bridge crane produced by Liaoning Hengtai heavy machine Co.Ltd,using the finite element method?structural mechanics?fracture mechanics theory as the theoretical basis, modeling and simulation.Firstly,the static characteristics of bridge crane is analyzed;secondly,the fatigue of bridge crane is anslyzed;finally,the safety of bridge crane is evaluated.The main contents are as follows:1) Checking the stiffness?strength and stability of bridge crane. The basic parameters? calculation of load and working characteristic of bridge crane are discussed; the stiffness, strength and stability of the box girder are calculated and validated in accordance with the ?Crane Design Standard?2) The finite element analysis of bridge crane box girder structure. Model bridge crane box girder by Autodesk Inventor; calculate the four typical conditions load of the bridge crane; the static characteristics of bridge crane is analyzed by the analysis module of Autodesk Inventor.3) The fatigue analysis of bridge crane. Summary and analysis the mechanism?main position and extension mechanism of bridge crane box girder fatigue crack; study further to derive estimate method of bridge crane box girder residual life and makes example analysis; according to the stress concentration problem of box girder, propose a structure improvement, and verify it; According to the crack arrest and repair theory which is based on the fracture mechanics, propose a repair method and verify its feasibility.4) Evaluate the safety and residual life of bridge crane according to the fuzzy theory. Summary the main technical performance state of the bridge crane; summary the methods to predict the residual life of bridge crane; calculate and Analysis the research model as example.
