Transmission lines is an important part of power system, it is responsible for the task of transmission and distribution of electrical energy, and contacting the substation, power plants to make them run efficiently. The tower line system has characteristics of large span, high structure strong and the wire with strong nonlinear, so the structure dynamic response is complicated. Meanwhile, seismic action also has the characteristics of the strong destructive, serious secondary disaster, it will greatly reduce the country and people's life and property from losses if ensure smooth power system after the earthquake. Therefore, the research on seismic action effect of transmission line tower system has important practical significance.Firstly, based on ANSYS software, the single tower model was established and analyzed and obtained the best single tower model by comparing the result with Electrical Specifications and Load Code for the Design of Building Structures. Then established and analyzed the model of three towers and two-span to obtain the characteristic of natural frequency and vibration mode. It was found that the influence of wire can not to be ignored. Chose the best tower line coupling system and proved the validity of the model. Secondly, adjusted the seismic wave and obtained the seismic acceleration time history curve on the basis of El-Centro wave. Then the seismic action of tower line coupling system considering traveling wave effect was simulated. And it is necessary to consider the traveling wave effect in seismic effect analysis by comparing the result of multi-support excitation with the result of uniform excitation. Finally, the earthquake action under the action of the multi-dimensional and multi-support has carried on. And it comes to the conclusion that multi-dimensional seismic response analysis of multipoint excitation can reflect the seismic response of tower coupling system mostly. In this article, it should to be considered the traveling wave effect in the process of designing transmission line tower system. And the result of considering multi-dimensional and multi-point seismic action is more accurate. Therefore, this article provides a certain theoretical basis for the seismic design of transmission tower line coupling system.
