The structure usually has multi failure modes. The present thesis discusses multi-failure modes based on the response surface method. The response surface method is often used in analysis and calculations of the reliability of the aircraft because of its simple form, high accuracy and greatly fitting the structure of the limit state functions. There are many factors which influents the accuracy of the structure of the limit state functions, such as the form of the response surface, the number of the chosen experimental points, the position of the chosen experimental points. While sometimes, it is usually unknown for the structure of the limit state function which is the implicit structure of the limit state functions, so this is not easy for calculation. The present thesis based on the classical response surface method gets a promotion in accuracy and efficiency. The main content of this thesis is as following:1) Improve the response surface method based on high-dimensional model representation of the interpolation technology. The classical response surface method has a highly local accuracy. However it is without a global accuracy. The HDMR method has a high global accuracy, so it can get a good result using interpolation technology for the structure of the limit state functions.2) The HDMR method which combines with the classical response surface method can acquire a highly global and local accuracy so as to get a better result.3) The article presents a sub-regions method of the reliability. Calculate the design point using the HDMR method. Then get a expansion at the design point by redius one. Use the classical response surface method to calculate the points which are in the circle while the other use the HDMR method. Finally, apply the method to calculating the reliability of the common structure of the limit state functions and aircraft wings. The analysis result demonstrates that this method has a high accuracy.
