Permanent Magnet Low Speed Synchronous Motor(PMLSSM)can directly output low speed and large torque without mechanical variable speed device.PMLSSM can be started and stopped quickly,it’s very suitable for the equipment that require low-speed direct drive and frequent switch the direction of rotation.The current research on the control system of PMLSSM is a bit less.Therefore,this paper conducts the research mainly about the control system of three phase and tow phase PMLSSM,by combining theoretical with simulation and experimental.Firstly,the development and research status of PMLSSM and the control technology of this motor are reviewed in this dissertation.Then,the basic structure,working principle and characteristics of PMLSSM are introduced.Secondly,the composition,structure and functions of this control system are given.In this system,the main control technology is double closed-loop vector control with sensor(photoelectric encoder),and the secondary control technology is sensorless control.The theory of two phase and three phase space vector pulse width modulation are analyzed.Then the parameters identification methods and engineering design methods of the regulators are discussed in detail.Sliding mode variable structure control are applied to sensorless control of PMLSSM,and the speed of the motor is limited to the range of middle and high.Aiming at eliminating chattering of the sliding mode variable structure control,saturation function was used to replace switching function,and phase-locked loop are combined with sliding observer.The simulation model is built in the Matlab.And the Matlab simulation results show that control algorithm designed in this paper is correct.Then the hardware design and software design of the control system are finished.The hardware is divided into drive circuit,control circuit and human machine interface circuit.By using uC/OSII operating system,the software design become easy.And the main program,measurement and control program are analyzed,and their flow charts are given.Finally,the experimental prototype of PMLSSM control system is made,and the experimental platform is built.The experimental results show that control system applies both for the control of three phase PMLSSM and two phase PMLSSM,andthe feasibility of the measurement and control scheme used in this paper was verified preliminarily.
