Active distribution network is connected with variety of distribution generation.Due to the different characteristics of different kinds of distribution generation(DG),the traditional analysis algorithms of distribution network need to be improved.Reactive power compensation optimization has positive effects in voltage level maintainance,network losses and energy costs reduction,power quality improvement and etc.Therefore,the research on medium voltage distribution lines reactive compensation configuration optimization has practical significance.In this paper,firstly,the mathematical model of optimal allocation of reactive power compensation in distribution network with distributed generation is established,in which distributed power is equivalent to PQ node,PI node,PV node and PQ(V)node.Considering the time value of the funds,the investment and maintenance cost of reactive power compensation is converted into equivalent annual value.The equivalent costs,distribution line cost of active power loss and voltage violation penalty cost are summed as a comprehensive objective function,with the power flow equation,the node voltage and the maximum power of the line as the constraint.Secondly,the reactive power compensation points are fixed by the method of random fault branch according to the minimum power load moment(combining Dijkstra algorithm)in a certain area.The principle of local equilibrium distribution lines is used to determine the compensation capacity of each point.So the reactive power compensation point and the compensation capacity of the different zones are determined.In order to solve the objective function,the MATLAB program is written,using the improved forward backward sweep method to calculate the trend and the minimum solution of the objective function is selected as the reactive power optimization scheme.Finally,the optimization model and solving method is verified by the examples.The calculation process and results show that by this algorithm it can solve the optimal method of reactive power compensation in active distribution network,and the solution is reasonable and feasible.
