The treatment of low temperature and low turbidity water becomes the first environmental problem for China, the water has been seriously polluted by organic matters and the seasonal of ammonia nitrogen, causing a higher level of difficulties for water treatment, especially in North China. It is necessary that we should choice a treatment technology, the technology is suitable for quality characteristics and it can effectively remove the pollutants in water and ensure quality effluent.In this paper, regarding the raw water of low temperature and low turbidity water in Fuxin River Water as the study object, a combined process included enhanced coagulation and adsorption of medical stone was established to treat turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and organic matters in low temperature and low turbidity water, combining adsorption of medical stone and optimal coagulation condition. The main advantage:enhanced coagulation can increase the rate of turbidity and enlarge the range of organic matters, this method is economic, convenient and good. In addition, medical stone has larger specific surface area, it also has strong degradation capacity of ammonia nitrogen. The combination can realize the removal of turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and ammonia nitrogen and ensure quality effluent.This experiment about low temperature and low turbidity water is based on the study of the static experiments and the dynamic experiments. First, the effect of various factors on coagulation is studied by single factor experiment. Response surface model is established on the basis of the single factor experiment, response equations and interactions are determined on dosing quantity of PAFC, dosing quantity of PAM and dosing point of PAM, the optimum coagulation condition is established by Design-Expert about the optimization of test result. Coagulation test of low temperature and low turbidity water is carried out through the optimum technological parameters of static experiments, after 30 minutes, effluent is treated by dynamic column. Removal effect of adsorption materials are studied about turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and COD.The results showed that:parameters of fast string 45s (350r/min), parameters of first flocculation 6min (90r/min), parameters of second flocculation 9min (50r/min), standing time 30min, dosing quantity of PAFC is 17.80mg/L, dosing quantity of PAM is 0.3mg/L, dosing point of PAM is -0.01, turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and COD have the best removal effect, the removal rates are 68.03%?30.2% and 10.92%. Medical Stone modified by salt have a better effect, removal ratio of turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and COD is 96.57%,66.17% and 73.97%, the removal rate of turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and COD improved 39.76%,55.39% and 43.12% than coagulation, effluent quality is good.According to the results, Enhanced coagulation and adsorption of Medical Stone have a good effect on removal effects of turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and COD in low temperature and low turbidity water, the effluent quality of turbidity, ammonia nitrogen and pH can reach to the standards for drinking water quality, COD can reach to central water supply, this method is feasibility and effectiveness for low temperature and low turbidity water.
